MEANING OF SCAM.
A scam is a deceptive scheme or trick used to cheat someone out of something, especially money. Scam is also a verb meaning to cheat someone in such a way. Example: Banks will never call you asking for your credit card number or social security number over the phone.

COMMON WAYS TO AVOID BECOMING A FRAUD VICTIM.

1. Becareful of accepting cheap travel that are too good to be true

2. Consider all email requesting personal information suspicious

3. Protect your device, like your PC, laptop, smartphone and tablet with strong password and security programs such as antivirus/anti-spyware.

4. Don’t respond to phone call about your computer asking for remote access. Immediately  hang up.

5. Beware and becareful when shopping online. Because most are fake.

6.Always shield your PIN and don’t ever send it over the internet or disclose it to anyone. Your bank or the police will never phone or email you to ask you to disclose it.

7. Consider your card details to be as valuable as cash – in the hands of a criminal there is no difference.

8. Shop only on secure websites. Before submitting card details, look for a padlock or an unbroken key symbol on your web browser.

9. Also check that the internet browser address changes from ‘http’ to https’ to indicate you have a secure connection.

10. Sign up to Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode when given the option.  Such systems provide an added level of security as you must register a password with your card company.

Documents are easily faked. Some will look just like the real thing but others might have warning signs, such as:

• generic rather than personal greeting
• names of organisations that don’t exist
• poorer quality presentation
• poorer quality grammar and spelling
• overly official or forced language.

Documents such as flight itineraries and bank statements have simple, uncomplicated layouts even when they are legitimate because such businesses allow their customers to print online statements. This means that scammers can easily create fake documents by using information available online such as company logos and graphics from websites.

Scammers can easily fake an official-looking email, using the same logo and design as the real company.

Often your guard is down when you receive an email from a company you’ve dealt with before, such as Australia Post or an online shopping site you use. If you’re not expecting an email, always be alert to a fake before clicking on any links or opening any attachments.

Scammers often use fake photos they’ve found online.

Tip: Do an image search of your admirer to help determine if they really are who they say they are. You can use image search services such as Google or TinEye.

Many people are suppose to be really successful but because of what we heard or seen, we would want to miss our chances of being successful. While some are afraid of the stress of the job, because of what they may have heard about the job without fully understanding what the job is all about.  While some just don’t have the chance, but they have everything in mind but not the chance to start at all.

1. Self reflect and take responsibility: it can be hard to face our weakness, but it the only way to know when we need to address something that might be holding us back. Once we come to a decision, it important we take responsibility for our behavior and action. Sometimes this means apologizing to those we’ve hurt either intentionally or unintentionally.

2. Know the nature of a job: Don’t just say you aren’t going to start or go into a job because of the rumors you heard about it. Try and investigate by asking a person that works in the same place. It helps alot.

3. Be open to perspective and ideas: To refuse to listen to and consider other perspective and ideas is a sign of fear of being wrong. The refusal pushes people outside your circle and shut them out. It also deprives valuable insight and information that will trigger your successfulness.

4. Be empathetic: Step in their shoes and imagine yourself in their situation, not judging you’d do thing differently but to get a sense of what they do and see things from their perspective.

5. Push people to give an honest feedback: It might be good for our ego to have people to be honest and authentic in order to help us avoid problems and take advantage of opportunity

It is really complicated. 

2. Married crush:This is a situation whereby you are having a crush on your best friend spouse, it is really complicated, because firstly, you are jeopardizing the marriage and secondly you are putting your friendship at risk. For the spouse, having a crush on your partner friend is not advisable, but taking it further by hanging out with the friend or making or with the friend is way too much. 

3. One-sided love: This is when you agree to a person because they have something you need, or you loving a person that you know they don’t have feelings for you. There is this saying  “it is better to choose the one that is in love with you than to choose the one you love ”  because the one you love, you are not 100% sure if they love you the way you love them. It is really not advisable because you won’t get much attention as u wanted, no matter how that person pretends to love, care and cherish you. There will always be something off.

4. The secret relationship: This is when you are in a relationship with someone in a race or tribe, when you know that your parent are very much against it, or people generally is against the relationship, still yet you went ahead into the relationship. The relationship tends not to last. It is very complicated because if eventually they find out. It is going to be a shame. So it a complicated relationship. 

5. The crush of your bestfriend: This is another complicated relationship, where both you and your best friend are having the same crush, and the crush went for your best friend, but later on falls for you. You agreeing to that relationship is not anywhere good. If your best friend finds out about it and let you two be, your relationship won’t be as romantic as you want it to be. It will always be awkward.

5. Not playing your role in the marriage: in every marriage, there are certain roles given to the each partner, and each partner are expected to play that role.
